STATUTORY MASTER DATA

 Statutory Master Data – 

This is a master data relating to statute/law. It may be different for different type of taxes. 

E.g. Goods and Service Tax (GST), Nature of Payments for Tax Deducted at Source (TDS), etc. This data also shall be relatively permanent. We don’t have any control on this data as statutory changes are made by Government and not by us. In case of change in tax rates, forms, categories, we need to update/change our master data.
