 Payroll Master Data – 

• Payroll is another area connecting with Accounting Systems. Payroll is a system for calculation of salary and recoding of transactions relating to employees.
•  Master data in case of payroll can be names of employees, group of employees, salary structure, pay heads, etc. These data are not expected to change frequently.
•  E.g. Employee created in the system will remain as it is for a longer period of time, his/her salary structure may change but not frequently, pay heads associated with his/ her salary structure will be relatively permanent.
