Credit Cards
The processing of applications for issuance of credit cards is usually entrusted to a separate division at the central office of a bank. The dues against credit cards are collected by specified branches. Many of them also act as ‘cash points’ to provide cash to the cardholder on demand up to the specified limits. Most credit cards issued by banks are linked to one of the international credit card networks like VISA, Master, Amex or India’s own RuPay which currently issues debit cards but credit cards are also expected to launched in near future.
